Android overlay application for camera control via Mavlink

Our camera control add-on application now supports complete control of PhaseOne P3 payload, including every single feature of the camera. MavCam features brand new UI menus that are specifically implemented for PhaseOne P3. Additionally, MavCam application now supports HereLink, SIYI or Skydroid remote controllers. As an overlay app, MavCam can seamlessly work with any drone control app, such as QGC, Solex, or MissionPlanner, as it is simply drawn in front of them.

No additional hardware or wiring required.

The MavCam application is installed on your Android-powered remote controller, and the PhaseOne P3 should be installed and configured as recommended by the manufacturer. Our application simply adds new menus for camera control to enhance your existing ecosystem and workflow.

Exposure settings

Selection of exposure mode Auto / Manual. Exposure compensation, AE priority (ISO / Speed / Iris), min/max values for ISO, speed and iris. Under Manual exposure mode you can directly configure Iris / Speed / ISO.

Auto trigger control

Configuration of autotriggering mode - horizontal / vertical / 3D / timed. Setting of distance, or interval time. Enable / disable automated trigger.

Focusing control

Activation, minimum / maximum distance, AF strategy and threshold, focus mask and also focus mask threshold. Focus distance in manual mode. AF bracketing activation, mode, direction and capture count.

Storage management

Custom XMP information definition, sotorage formatting, new folder creation. Activation of USB MassStorage mode.

Our camera control application was originally designed and developed for the HereLink, but it is also compatible with other Android-powered remote controllers such as SIYI, Skydroid, and others. No matter which drone control application you prefer, whether it's QGC, Solex, MissionPlanner, or any other, our application will overlay and appear only when you need to handle camera configuration.

ON SCREEN JOYSTICK

Tilt / Yaw via on-screen joystick. Under joystick are options to re-center payload and also revert control to default camera attitude control.

EXPOSURE CONTROL

Full control for ISO / ShutterSpeed / Iris in manual exposure mode. Exposure correction control in automatic exposure mode. Auto exposure priority, maximum and minimum values.

AUTO TRIGGER | FOCUS BRACKETING

The PhaseOne P3 has sophisticated features for automatic triggering based on time/distance, as well as improved focus bracketing with multiple modes. MavCam brings you convenient control of every single parameter and function.

STORAGE MANAGEMENT

Format storage, create new folder, define custom XMP information written to every photo by the camera. Also you can easily enable USB MassStorage mode if needed.
