Camera connection #

How to connect Entire and Camera for remote control.

CAMERA configuration

  • Open Camera MENU and navigate to WiFi
  • Open Wi-Fi submenu
  • Enter WiFi Function
  • Under WiFi Function, select Control With SmartPhone
  • Then choose New Connection
  • Now is WiFi hotspot in the camera ready for Entire’s connection

ENTIRE configuration

  • Switch Entire to WiFi control mode
  • Manage Entire to connect the Camera WiFi hotspot:
    • MENU -> WiFi connection
    • Select first empty slot
    • Click to New Scan and wait  until scan is not ready
    • From drop down list selelct camera WiFi hotspot
    • Write down password from the camera (if not disabled)
    • Click to Connect

  • Entire will connect the camera. During camera connection, Entire will disable own hotspot, so you’ll be disconnected. During connection Entire blinks quickly Blue/Green.
  • Once connection is done, Entire will go Blue or Green, then you can connect back from your phone or PC.

Tips & Tricks #

Some features does not work in all modes. Here are tips and tricks about usage.

Using AF trigger

Trigger AF function is available only when camera is set to MF mode.
Once camera is set to MF mode, then you can trigger AF by activating “Trigger AF” function in the Entire as one-time AF. Trigger photo then does not activate AF before trigger.

Using AF Peaking

Focus Peaking toggle is “hidden” under OK function of the Entire.
Once “OK” function is triggered in the Entire, Entire executes focus peaking toggle in the Camera. There are three states of the peaking mode – OFF / LOW / HIGH.
Focus peaking is available only in MF mode!

Enable HDMI overlay

When internal recording is used, you may appreaciate overlay with exposure values in HDMI output.
Navigate to camera MENU – “HDMI Rec Output” section and toggle “Info Display” to ON.
