If your Expander cable set contains this cable (picture at right), please follow this manual.
Connection to Pixy-LR gimbal (with ENTIRE R3) #
This installation procedure is for users who has this setup:
- Sony ILX-LR1
- Gremsy Pixy-LR
- ENTIRE R3 with PixyLR Simple wiring set (for geotagging)
- LR1 Expander (for camera control)
In this setup is gimbal connected to MavLink via COM2 at 921 600bps, this data stream is forwarded by the gimbal via COM4 at 230400 bps. LR1 Expander is connected via AUX port of Pixy-LR directly to the ENTIRE UNI port A/B/C for camera control. Triggering and activating of AF is done via USBMULTI connection of the ENTIRE.
STEP 1 #
- Use this cable of LR1 Expander package –>
STEP 2 #
- Mount the camera to Pixy-LR gimbal with our Pixy-LR Simple set
- Connect this cable to 6pin connector of the camera and LR Expander module
- Connect other end to Pixy-LR AUX port
- Hide our wirings under Pixy-LR clamp for clean result
STEP 3 #
- Connect quickrelease AUX connector via this cable
STEP 4 #
- Connect QR AUX connector to the ENTIRE UNI port (A/B/C)
STEP 5 #
- Open ENTIRE’s configuration and set selected UNI port to “LR Expander” mode
- If wiring is done properly, port will switch to “online” in a second. From this moment is control commands for Aperture / Shutterspeed / ISO / MENU + Navigation automatically forwarded to Expander by the ENTIRE.
