Install upgrade (license)​ #

Basic FW of the Entire does not include RED camera control. Upgrade is available at our store as online product.
Once order is successfully finished, please contact us with order number and request code from your Entire.

How to install license:

STEP 1

  • Open the Entire’s web control page, then MENU and Miscellaneous.
  • Swipe and click to Installed licenses.
License-no-installed

STEP 2

  • Click to any row, request code is the not related to row you select.
  • From new window you can simply copy text of the request code or you can also click to “Send request code by email”.
  • We will generate your license code immediately once received and respond your email with license code.

STEP 3

  • Copy license code from our response email to the license manager.
  • Click to INSTALL

    • License code is locked to one device (depending on request code).

Wired control mode #

ENTIRE wiring & configuration #

Open ENTIRE MENU and set Control mode to:

  • RED Camera

  • Connect RED cable to the EXT port of the camera:
CAMERA configuration #
  • Wired option works well in camera factory default settings. If you have issues, this is important settings you may check:

Open camera menu -> Communication

Communication -> Serial

Under Serial section check:

  • Baudrate 115200
  • IP Address: 192.254.1.1

WiFi control mode #

ENTIRE configuration #

Open ENTIRE MENU and set Control mode to:

  • RED Camera
CAMERA configuration #

Open camera menu

Scroll and enter:

  • COMMUNICATION

Scroll and enter:

  • WiFi

Scroll and enter:

  • MODE

Select:

  • Infrastructure

Click OK

Scroll and enter:

  • Infrastructure (third line)

Scroll and enter:

  • Networks
  • Wait for WiFi scan to be done

Scroll and enter ENTIRE hotspot:

  • Entire_xxxx

Click “Connect” button

Wait for connection to be established.
Scroll and enter:

  • IP assignment

Set mode to

  • MANUAL

Click OK button

Enter:

  • Configure IP

(Click OK button next to “Configure IP”)

Enter this configuration:

  • IP Address: 192.168.1.1
  • Netmask: 255.255.0.0
  • Gateway: 192.168.1.1

Click OK button

RED KOMODO | RAPTOR remote control (RCP2) AD-HOC | Not Suggested #

Camera configuration for WiFi control:

  1. Open menu of the camera and navigate to WiFi configuration
  2. Enable camera WiFi hotspot (Ad-Hoc)
  3. Set 2.4GHz band
  4. Set SSID as you wish or leave default
  5. Password can be left empty
  6. Enable WiFi hotspot

Entire configuration:

  1. In the Entire, you only need to switch Control mode to “RED Camera”
  2. In the Entire open MENU – WiFi connection
  3. Click to empty slot
  4. Click to “New scan” button
  5. Wait for new scan and select KOMODO’s WiFi hotspot from the list
  6. Connect to the camera hotspot
    • During the joining process will Wi-Fi hotspot be disconnected and STATUS LED will blink BLUE/GREEN.
    • In few seconds should camera status become online (STATUS LED Green) and all controls available.
    • At this moment you can join back ENTIRE’s WiFi hotspot

Other RED camera control (RCP1) #

ENTIRE configuration #

1)    In the Entire, you only need to switch Control mode to “RED Camera”

CAMERA configuration #

1)    Open menu of the camera and navigate:
    – SETTINGS > SETUP > COMMUNICATION > WiFi > Infrastructure Setting
2)    Select WiFi mode “Infrastructure”
3)    Click to “IP Config”
    – Disable DHCP (Uncheck the box)
    – Set IP Address to 192.168.10.55
    – Netmask: 255.255.255.0
    – Gateway: 192.168.10.1
4)    Close the IP Setting
5)    Click to Scan and find Entire’s hotspot
6)    Confirm and click to Connect
7)    Wait for Camera -> Entire connection to be successfully established
8)    Once camera will connect the Entire’s hotspot, the Entire will find the camera automatically, turn the STATUS LED Green and all control will be available.
